The Boulder Junction Public Library is now accepting applications for their 2nd Annual “Art in the Library” Juried Exhibition being displayed during the month of August. Applications are due no later than Friday, June 28.
Registration for the juried exhibit is $25 for up to three entries per artist. Jurors will notify artists of acceptance by July 12. The work will be on exhibit from August 1-31 with a reception to be held on Friday, August 2 from 4-5:30 pm. During the reception, judges will choose award winners with prizes of $150 for First Place, $100 for Second Place and $50 for Third Place. In addition to a cash prize, the first place winner will also receive a future solo exhibit in the library.
Only 2-D artwork will be eligible due to space restrictions. Submitted artwork can be for sale but is not required to be for sale. All artwork must be original in concept and design and signed by the artist. All artwork accepted into the exhibit must remain on exhibit until August 31. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
