The event will feature activities and information centering on Earth Day themes and initiatives.
*Trig’s Minocqua Recycling Center will be taking free drop off of recyclables such as listed on their website here: https://www.trigs.com/and-more/minocqua-recycling-center. (Accepting donations from 11am – 1pm only and until the container is full. We cannot take large items since we will only have a trailer pallet.)
*The Boulder Junction Lions Club will have a table with information about inkjet cartridge, eyeglass, and hearing aid recycling.
*Soles4Souls – recycling all styles and sizes of new or gently-worn shoes
*Blue Jeans Go Green – recycling blue jeans that are at least 90% cotton and don’t have any hangers, tags, stickers, or plastic attached
*North Lakeland Discovery Center
*Vilas County Land & Water Conservation
*NexTrex plastic bag and plastic film recycling for a community bench. Types of plastic that can be recycled here: https://nextrex.com/…/20230724221555_9_jsfwd_493_q2_1.pdf.
*Free Eclipse glasses while they last!
*Kids crafts and activities
