Starting February 7th, Vilas County families will be able to sign their children up to receive free, age-appropriate books mailed directly to their home each month through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

This program is available to eligible children living in Vilas County, helping foster a love of reading from an early age — at no cost to families.

 How to Sign Up

Beginning on February 7th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, families can register their children at the following locations:

Boulder Junction Public Library
Northwoods Children’s Museum
Lac du Flambeau Public Library
Land O’ Lakes Public Library
Frank B. Koller Memorial Library
Plum Lake Public Library

 Who Is Eligible
Children from birth to age 5
Must be a Vilas County resident
(Books will be mailed monthly until the child turns 5.)
