Winter Wellness Series – Reflexology & Medi-Cupping

Looking for ways to stick to your New Year’s Resolutions? The Boulder Junction Public Library is presenting a series of FREE informational presentations to help patrons learn ways to support their health and wellness this winter -and all year long. All programs are held on Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30 pm in the Boulder Lake Room at the Community Center.
February 26 – “Reflexology and Medi-Cupping” with Lori Thomas, owner and operator of Boulder Junction Wellness
Reflexology is a therapeutic method of relieving pain by stimulating predefined pressure points on the feet, hands and face. This controlled pressure alleviates the source of the discomfort. Medi-Cupping is a modern CAM application of ancient cupping practice that is focused on moving fluids (lymphatic drainage and detox) & relieving myofascial restrictions in the body tissues.
Lori graduated from East West Healing Arts Inst. in Madison. LMT, NCMBT. She has a Diploma in Facial Reflexology Sorensensistem.tm. She is also a Certified Registered Reflexologist (Ingham Method) from the International Institute of Reflexology, Florida. She has taken a year course in Advanced Reflexology Techniques from the Universal College of Reflexology Canada
All attendees will be entered into a drawing for a door prize at each presentation. Refreshments will be served.
