2nd Annual Juried Exhibit Art Reception featuring the work of Stephanie Colotti, Casey Kassien, Bill Radant, Diane Schauss, Jeff Trapp and Glennes Youngbauer. During the reception on Friday, August 2, guest judges Susan Govier and Leah Trojan will choose award winners with prizes of $150 for First Place, $100 for Second Place and $50 for Third Place. The Friends of the Library will be holding a weekly used book sale this summer, every Tuesday starting June 4, as part of the Lion’s Club Flea Market at the Boulder Junction Community Center. Many community members have brought in donations of books, audios and DVDs; plus the library will be selling withdrawn materials. Monies raised from the used book sales will go toward purchasing new materials and equipment for the library.
