June Art in the Library Exhibit

There will be an Artists’ Reception on Saturday, June 8 from 11am to 1pm. The artists plan to talk about their quilts and do demonstrations of techniques.

The Boulder Junction Public Library welcomes the public to view their June “Art in the Library” exhibit with quilts from the Ladies of the Lakes Quilt Guild. Their artwork will be on display throughout the library during regular business hours.

The Ladies of the Lakes Quilt Guild started in the early 1980’s. Currently, they are a small group who love to quilt. They welcome quilters of all abilities – whether new or quilting for years.

Guild member, Glennes Youngbauer, has had quilts in the Great Wisconsin Quilt Show in Madison, as well as the American Quilters Society Quilt Show in Paducah, Kentucky. Other members also have had quilts in the Madison show.

The Guild meets twice a month on the first and third Tuesday of the month. They try to have a new demonstration or a sew-along every month. They welcome all abilities of quilters.
