Library Lover’s Month
We’re celebrating Library Lover’s Month this February! Library Lovers’ Month is a national month-long celebration of school, public, and private libraries of all types. This is a time for everyone to recognize the value of libraries and to work to assure that the nation’s libraries will continue to serve and remain free to the millions of people who visit in person or via the internet each year.
There are many reasons why you might love your library, but in today’s tough economy, you have to love your library for all the money it can save you. The Boulder Junction Public Library offers popular fiction and non-fiction books for all ages in both regular print, large print and digital; books on CD and digital audiobooks; movies; magazines; newspapers; reference books; databases; online learning, genealogy resources; digital services; public access computers with word processing and internet access; wireless internet access 24/7 in the library and in the parking lot; wireless printing; children’s and adult programs; movie events; lifelong learning opportunities; and the list goes on. But the best part is that you get all this at no cost – both residents and visitors can apply for a library card at no charge and use the library’s services at no charge!
You can show your love for the Boulder Junction Public Library by stopping in the library to fill out a “I love my library because” heart. Each person who fills out a heart gets a free kiss – chocolate that is! And five lucky patrons will win a Giant Kiss – again, a chocolate one! All Library Lover’s hearts will be on display throughout the month.
You can also tell us why you love your library by submitting your story electronically at https://forms.gle/8sZ27tgkqXBbZk3A6 and have a chance to win a $50 Visa Gift Card. Drawing will be held after February 29, 2024.
