Library Open for Inside Visits!

The Boulder Junction Public Library has re-opened for inside visits! The library will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 am to 1 pm. There will be a capacity limit of 8 people in the library at one time and prolonged socializing or extended stays at the library are not permitted at this time.

Masks or face coverings will be required for all patrons ages 5 and older inside the building. Patrons must wear their mask over their mouth and nose at all times. The library has free disposable masks available while supplies last. If a patron cannot wear a mask for any reason, the library will be happy to provide curbside service.

Patrons are welcome to check out materials, use the public computers with time limits, or copy and scan documents. The library’s WiFi network is accessible outside the library and is available 24/7.

Patrons are still welcome to request Contactless Curbside Pickup of library materials, and are asked to remain home or use only curbside library service if they cannot wear a mask, if they are experiencing any COVID-19, cold, or flu symptoms, or if they have been exposed to anyone who has COVID-19 or is awaiting test results. Contactless Curbside Pickup is available by appointment on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 am to 1 pm and Tuesday and Thursday from 2-6 pm.

All library materials must still be returned in the outside book drop on the east side of the building. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Patrons are advised to use library-provided hand sanitizer when entering and leaving the library. The library will also be cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces.

The library is quarantining all materials for 24 hours before returning them to circulation, so there may be some delays in clearing items from a library card. If unable to return library materials for any reason, please call the library and ask for a renewal.

The Boulder Junction Public Library cannot guarantee a germ-free environment. With this knowledge, entering the library is done so at one’s own risk. The library may close again based on guidelines from county, state, and national health organizations. If a staff member or patron is sick and has been in the library, the library may need to temporarily close for cleaning and disinfecting.

For questions, please call the library at 715-385-2050 or 715-513-9345.
