November Art in the Library Exhibit

The Boulder Junction Public Library welcomes the public to view their November “Art in the Library” exhibit. The Library selected Tim Feathers and his photography will be on display in the Reading Room, above the photocopier and in the Children’s Area during regular library hours.
Tim Feathers is a retired art teacher. For 31 years, he taught everything from Kindergarten to 12th grade in ten different buildings. Most of his time was at the middle school level. About ten years ago, he decided to get back into photography as a diversion from going through radiation treatments for salivary gland cancer. Since that time, Tim and his wife have done everything from kid and family portraits, senior portraits, and weddings.
But his real love for photography is when he blends it with their love of the outdoors. He and his wife love to backpack and canoe. They make frequent trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and the Porcupine Mountains. In 2016, they decided they were ready to buy a place of their own in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. So now it is from the Wisconsin Northwoods/ Upper Michigan that Tim bases his photography.
Places his work has been displayed include: Center for the Visual Arts, Northern National, The Artist’s Muse (Howard Young Medical Center), Porcupine Mountains Visitors Guide, Wowspace, Wisconsin Great Lakes Calendar, Wooden Canoe Heritage Association’s Calendar, Our Wisconsin Magazine, and Wooden Canoe Magazine.
