October Art in the Library Exhibit
The Boulder Junction Public Library welcomes the public to view their October “Art in the Library” exhibit featuring artist, Deb Lund. Her artwork will be on display throughout the library during regular business hours.
Deb Lund has been creating, painting, and drawing since childhood, but it wasn’t until her retirement from a career as an RN that she began to paint full time. She learned her skills and techniques from the many artists that teach in the Midwest. If you ask, she will tell you that she is still developing her style. Deb paints portraits and landscapes mostly from photos although she does use her imagination. She does watercolor on both paper and yupo, where she uses a technique to seal the watercolor so it may be displayed as an oil.
Deb’s Studio is located in her home in Rhinelander where she also teaches beginner classes. Deb has won several honors and awards locally for her work. You can see Deb’s work online at https://www.facebook.com/Artbydeblund/, as well as the Lakeland Art League Gallery located at the great Northern Coffee Shop in Minocqua.
