Children's After School Reading Program

All programming is cancelled until further notice per state order.

The Boulder Junction Public Library’s After-School Children’s Reading Program will be held on Tuesdays from 3:45-4:45 pm at the Boulder Junction Community Center during the school year.

Each week will include stories, along with art projects, games, or other activities.  We will also have a snack to begin the program.  The program is aimed at children in 4-year-old kindergarten through third grade, but everyone is welcome to come.

School-age children can take the bus to the library if they give the school a note.  The bus to take is NL30.   The Reading Program will begin at about 3:45 pm when the bus arrives and run until 4:45 pm.  An adult must accompany children who are under 4 years old.

Every child who participates must fill out a permission slip and turn it into the library no later than the first day of the program. Forms will be available at the library, at the school and here. We are also looking for parents who can volunteer to help or be a guest reader during the program.

Advance registration is recommended, but not required. If you have any questions, please call the library at 715-385-2050.
