Kids Summer Reading Program

This year's Summer Library Program theme is "Adventure Begins At Your Library". We will be "adventuring" with lots of fun activities, reading challenges, and events for patrons of all ages!

The 2024 Summer Program Events starts June 19 and meets every Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 am (unless otherwise stated) through August 7. Events are held at the Boulder Junction Community Center either outside in the covered Lions Pavilion or in the Boulder Lake meeting room. Families are encouraged to participate in the program together. Children 7 and under must have a parent or guardian present for the program.

This year, the Reading Program will be open to ALL AGES. You need not attend the weekly events to participate in the Reading Program; however, you must read to be eligible for grand prize drawings.

We are using the Beanstack reading tracker app this year! To sign up, visit The app is available through both Android and Apple stores. Those who do not wish to use Beanstack can still use our paper trackers. Download the tracker here (Paper Tracking Download) or pick up a copy in the library!

*To be eligible for weekly prize drawings, reading tracking/badges must be updated/ turned in by Wednesday mornings.
