Dragon Training Academy

NOTE: This program will be held at the North Lakeland Discovery Center in Manitowish Waters!
Join us at the North Lakeland Discovery Center for a Dragon Training Academy event hosted by the Boulder Junction Public Library and Koller Memorial Library. Inventor and time traveler Brock Barnabas will visit the present time to recruit some adventurous kids. These brave souls will travel back in time and train to help deal with an overpopulation of dragons! Kids will be trained to both defend against and tame dragons using Brock’s amazing science-based inventions and techniques.
Upon completion of training, Brock Barnabas prepares to transport the kids to the past—only to inadvertently draw a dragon right to the event! Kids will use their newly learned skills to deal with the dragon in the room! There will be a post-show meet and greet with a baby dragon animatronic—FUN!
Brock Barnabas is a world-renowned steampunk time traveler and inventor from the 1800’s. With his latest invention, the “Time Travel Trunk,” he is able to travel through time to help out past civilizations and recruit friends for various adventures. Join him on November 1st as he uses not only his many scientific inventions, but elements of humor, high energy, creative play and (of course) realistic-looking animatronic puppets for an experience like no other!
This library program is free and open to the public. No registration necessary. Contact the Koller Memorial Library at 715-543-2700 or Boulder Junction Public Library at 715-385-2050 for more information.
