The library is starting a NEW Homeschool Hangout for all ages. To kick off the new program, there will be two Homeschool Hangouts in December – Thursday, December 11 and Thursday, December 18. Both will start at 10am in the Boulder Junction Community Center.  Decorate cookies on December 11! December 18 is the Elf Shopping Room! Families are encouraged to be a new or gently-used gift suitable for a mom. Gifts will be displayed in the Elf Room where kids will be able to shop for Mom. Helpers will be on hand to help wrap each gift to keep it a surprise. Gift wrapping supply donations are also welcome.

Then, starting in January, the Homeschool Hangout will be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month through May. Times will vary weekly so check website event listings. Each event will also include an exchange table. Families are encouraged to bring their outgrown items – toys, books, clothes, homeschooling materials, etc.

The programs are open to the public and all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian – no unattended children will be allowed.
