November Art in the Library
The Boulder Junction Public Library welcomes the public to view their November Art in the Library exhibit featuring Shannon Brimmer. The artwork will be on display during regular library hours until the end of November.
Meet Shannon and view her work at an Artist’s Reception to be held on Saturday, November 15 from 10:30am-Noon in the library. During the reception, Shannon will give a presentation about her art.
In May of 2023, Shannon and her husband moved to Northern Wisconsin from busy Austin, TX. She has family roots here and spent much of her childhood summers on Bills Lake in Lac du Flambeau. She has always loved the serenity and beauty of the Northwoods of Wisconsin and is thrilled to be here full time. She is inspired by it!
Shannon tries to spend time every day on the lake in her kayak or canoe. She loves photographing the wildlife and beautiful scenery. It’s always changing and gives new meaning to “a new day”. Much of her art is from “the Lake”, Northern Wisconsin or Upper Peninsula Michigan although her camera isn’t ever very far from her so you never know where she might capture something beautiful.
