Celebrate Love Your Library Month!

The secret is OUT: libraries make life better! February is Love Your Library Month and the Boulder Junction Public Library invites you to share why you love your library for a chance to win a prize! The library wants to know: how has the library made YOUR life better?

You can tell us your library love story by stopping in the library to fill out an “I love my library because” heart by February 28. Each person who fills out a heart gets a free treat. And two lucky patrons will win a GIANT Hershey’s Kiss! All Library Lover’s hearts will be on display throughout the month.

You can also tell us why you love your library by submitting your story electronically using our Online Form by February 28 and you’ll be entered into a prize drawing for one of three $50 Visa gift cards!

And for more Love Your Library Month fun, beginning Friday, February 6th, the library will also be offering “Blind Date with a Book”. You’ve heard the saying “you can’t judge a book by its cover”. How about choosing a blind date with a book without seeing the title, author, or cover? Stop in the library to choose a gift-wrapped adult or children’s book based on the genre and a professional review. Take the mystery book home to unwrap and read. Then use the enclosed bookmark to “rate your date”. When you return the book, give us your ratings bookmark and be entered into a prize drawing. Who knows, you may fall in love with a new genre or new author!
